Broadsword and Dagger

The stage gladiators of the “Three Kingdoms” (England, Scotland and Ireland) sometimes fought with a broadsword or backsword in one hand and a basket-hilted parrying dagger in the other, a rare but interesting weapon combination. This class will examine the use of the broadsword and dagger, based on comments by Donald McBane and Archibald MacGregor.
