1-1:30 Youth Involvement in HEMA Discussion

This brief discussion is for HEMA instructors and group leaders interested in starting youth groups.  Teaching young children requires a different skill set and different approaches than teaching teens and adults.  Simple games and activities take the place of technical drilling, the competitive aspects are not emphasized and the children use their imagination to keep them engaged and enthusiastic.  In short- keep it FUN!
