This workshop covers my interpretation of the techniques to be done from the Iron Gate or Fool guard. The Streichen techniques are not covered directly in Liechtenauer’s verse, but do conform to the principles of the Old Master’s art. Participants of the class will need a Longsword. A mask is recommended and other protective equipment is welcome. Participants must match their speed and intensity to the level of their partner’s protection. The class can be taken by all skill levels; it starts simply, but does grow more challenging.
